Down on the Bayou where the mighty Mississippi kisses Lake Pontchartrain and spills into the Gulf of Mexico. There sits that jewel of the Southland. What the French lost to the British who gave it to the Spanish who lost it back to the French who sold it to America for….. Well, some folks say Jefferson conned Napoleon in a card game and won it for some jambalaya and a chicory coffee" (Marsalis, 2010).

Read the rest of this article about what the Saints victory at the Super Bowl means to the people of New Orleans according to famed Nahlins musicina, Wynton Marsalis.

Oh I love what you've done with your home and renting out one of the rooms will help pay for the paint you will need to spruce up the place. LOL

Well here I am back again. I posted on one of my classmates blog about how I met some really REALLY good looking EMTs and firemen, downside was they were doing CPR on ME!!! Well I am back on my feet and working round the clock to get make up work done. Down side to that I will be researching something (a topic I want) and next thing I know 2 hrs have passed and I have accumulated enough research for the entire class. But you know what I believe that is what research is all about being captivated by your topic and having an open mind to recieve the biggest gift of all - education.

I saved working on my own blog to the very last thing tonight. Now, I am too tired to think about changing the layout.

I want to make my old school photo smaller and post some more photos, but it might have to wait until tomorrow when I am fresh and less foggy from fatigue.
