See the spill from space

Perhaps we will consider more alternatives to fossil fuel now?

Hello Professor,
Wow, I really applaud you getting right to work on your volunteer efforts. As we discussed in seminar I am to an information junkie. I have not ventured into facebook but it is something I want to try. Please keep me informed of the progress you make in your efforts to help with the tragic oil spill and its effects on the enviroment. My thought and prayers are with everyone who live and work in that very effected region. The loss of plant and marine life is beyond tragic. The effects to the total ecosystem could be worst than anything we have ever seen.

Professor,

These photos are really amazing and it is very telling at how large this thing really is that you can see it from space. Makes it even more worrisome for me!I not only fear for the land nearby but for the poor marine life out in it. All I can do is pray! Thank you for posting!
