From left to right, this is my best friend of decades Brenda, my daughter's friend Jennifer, me and my daughter, Rebe. We just finished stuffing ourselves on brunch buffet at Milli's in Springfield, MO. We each were presented with a rose and a mimosa. Some of the proceeds benefit Guatemala.

With full stomachs, Rebe and I then drove back to Kansas City, stopping only at the Oceola Cheese Factory to sample the cheeses and buy some to take home.

It rained all day and all night yesterday, while tornadoes hit south central KS and Oklahoma. Today is bright and sunny and warmer. I took a walk in a nearby park where they have little challenging fitness stops where you can chin yourself, do crunches, and walk the balance beam. I found out how out of shape I am without my Zumba sessions.

Happy Mother's Day to all!
